Oracle Sees Growth From Outsourcing Oracle's financial reserves saw an infusion of cash from an outpouring of
outsourcing contracts secured in the last three months, the company said.
The Redwood Shores, Calif.-based firm, which reported its fiscal third
quarter financial statement Thursday, said at least seven new large-scale
contracts helped contribute to its $2.5 billion in third quarter revenues
and $635 million in net income. Oracle also said its earnings of 12-cents
per share were in line with analysts expectations.

Hansa grows up Hansa Financials, which has since inception provided enterprise resource
planning and customer relationship management to smaller businesses, has
added extensibility and mobility to its earlier versions to target larger
customers.
"I believe it is possible for products like Hansa Financials to grow upwards
from the small to larger businesses," says Stephen Jay, visiting Hansa
Business Solutions international sales director. "However, it is more
difficult for large enterprise applications such as those offered by vendors
like Oracle and SAP to come down to the small and medium enterprise level."

MicroStrategy adds Linux and Unix versions Business intelligence vendor MicroStrategy is to launch Linux and Unix
versions of its 7i enterprise platform later this year.
Mike Sayler, chairman and chief executive of MicroStrategy, said the company
would add more statistical and data mining functionality to its portfolio,
as well as better support for enterprise resource software from SAP.
