ERP Implementation Advice

Getting something right on the first try, no matter what the subject, is often very important. Other outcomes mean risking time, money, and even all interest in the product or service. So today, we'd like to present a handful of tips for smoothly implementing ERP systems.

Jaroslav Cerny, the CEO of RBD Consulting, put together a list of five recommendations for IT News Africa. The first suggestion is just to "get executive buy-in," since making sure execs support a measure is an important step in making sure they don't give up on it.

Then Cerny recommended "continuous internal selling" as a natural extension of the first step. Execs aren't the only people in a company, after all, and it's best if everyone backs an ERP implementation.
